CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) Animal Shelters in Lowcountry are coming collectively on Sunday to host foster care gala’s throughout Three County.
4 organizations, the Charleston Society of Animals, the Berkeley Animal Heart, Pet Helpers and Dorchester Paws, declare that animal welfare expands shelter alternatives whereas relieving animals of the stress of residing in a shelter.
“Our shelters within the space are doing a tremendous job of saving lives, and parenting is the important thing to the life-saving success we see in Lowcountry,” stated Alexis Kaul, assistant animal welfare supervisor.
Shelters encourage folks to study alternatives for upbringing in canine and cat shelters.
Organizers say they’re searching for “BFFs” or the “Greatest Associates” program for animals that want behavioral evaluation and help.
“The most typical behavioral issues we’d like assist with are excessive vitality / inappropriate play, fear-based habits, and common anxiousness,” stated Tiffany Hoffman, Berkeley County Animal Heart coordinator.
